 Our Story
A.L.S. Three letters that change a person’s life forever. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a degenerative neuro-muscular disorder that has no known cause, cure or even treatment. In 1989, my father died of ALS. For the last 21 years, my family and I have been holding the Chris Stoikos Memorial Fight Against ALS Golf Tournament. The purpose is to raise public awareness and money for services, equipment, and research to find a cure or at least a treatment for this dreaded disease.
Our goal is simple: Help us raise as much money as we can, and in doing so, defeat this disease that after over 150 years since it was identified, still has no known cause, cure or even treatment. Help us put an end to the unbearable toll it takes on people and their families. We believe it can be done. We need your help to make it a reality.
